Thomson Reuters Corp. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for AI Developer Experience in Zug, Switzerland. You will design, develop, and operate backend services and APIs in Python, deploy scalable solutions on AWS, and manage containerized workloads with ECS/EKS and AWS Fargate.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and ongoing innovation. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior teammates while staying current

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
Solid knowledge of container orchestration (ECS/EKS) with experience running workloads on AWS Fargate.
Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced English.
