You will design and validate compiler infrastructures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, publish results, and lead external research collaborations while contributing to advances in MLIR, LLVM, and AI-focused optimizations.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of compiler development, system software, or computer architecture experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in compiler construction, covering front end parsing, middle end optimizations, and back end code generation.
• Strong background with LLVM/GCC and/or modern deep learning compilers (MLIR, TVM, XLA) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Technology Research – Design and validate efficient compiler infrastructures and algorithms; maximize performance, memory efficiency, and hardware-specific code.
• Software–Hardware Co-Optimization – Drive co-optimization including kernel fusion, memory layout tuning, and operator scheduling for GPUs/NPUs/accelerators.
• Technology Insight – Track trends across compilers (LLVM, GCC, MLIR, TVM) and propose new technologies to improve speed, size, and programmability; participate in planning discussions.
• External Collaboration – Lead research collaboration projects with academic and industrial partners.
