Qualifikationen

• PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Deep knowledge of modern enterprise applications such as recommender systems, serverless systems, and databases.
• Knowledge of memory and networking systems (coherence, virtual memory, NUMA, CXL, RDMA).
• Ability to develop and test applications on real systems and in production-like environments.
• Experience with performance analysis and relevant toolchains.

Aufgaben

• Conduct research on future large-scale systems focusing on memory systems and interconnects.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize performances and efficiency.
• Identify hardware/software co-design opportunities to accelerate workloads like AI and databases.
• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and evaluate on production-scale testbeds.
• Prepare whitepapers and academic publications.
