Job summary

nanoTRONIC AG in Switzerland seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex aerospace projects, delivering on time, within scope and on budget. You will oversee cross-functional teams, interface with international customers, and ensure project quality and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a technical master’s degree in aerospace or electronic engineering, 5+ years in the space industry, and fluent English with German/French as a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• At least 5 years of experience in the international space industry (commercial or institutional).
• Knowledge of aerospace and space industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Customer and solution oriented.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall project lead and coordination of activities.
• Responsible for budget and schedule within project scope.
• Manage cross-functional teams and resources for a high-performance environment.
• Plan, execute, monitor/control and close project activities.
• Manage customer relationships as main point of contact.
• Ensure implementation of best project management practices and quality standards.
• Interface between customer, suppliers and internal operations.
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers during the project phase.
• Manage large offers from initial contact to proposal release.
