Job summary

Aon plc in Zurich is seeking an Account Executive for the Multinational Client Segment to autonomously manage client portfolios, ensuring profitability and growth, and to lead a client service team in delivering tailored solutions.

You will cultivate relationships with executive decision-makers, advise on coverage concepts, and collaborate with insurers and internal experts to expand business while upholding high service standards. Fluency in German and English is expected; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Insurance federal diploma and/or university degree; FINMA registered.
• Excellent negotiation skills with insurers.
• Strategic business development skills (cross-selling and new clients).
• Well organized and structured approach.
• Ability to communicate at C-level.
• Well-connected in Swiss business communities.
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous client portfolio management to ensure profitability and growth.
• Cultivate relationships with executive decision-makers and coordinate with Aon experts and insurers.
• Provide client care across lines of business, monitor renewals and deadlines.
• Develop risk management solutions and coverage concepts with clients.
• Work with brokers to implement coverage concepts and solutions.
• Coordinate claims follow-up with the Aon Claims department.
• Maintain internal information systems relevant to the portfolio.
• Expand existing client relationships and attract new clients.
