You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, including Group Actuarial, and contribute to Group Re’s reserving outlook and performance insights.

What you will do

• You deliver quarterly reserving analyses and projections across key portfolios and reporting perspectives.
• You provide expert reserving insights for Pre-Close and Final Close reporting to senior stakeholders.
• You lead or contribute to IFRS 17 reserving calculations and planning activities.
• You collaborate cross-functionally within Group Reinsurance and with Group Actuarial to ensure seamless reporting and clear communication of results.
• You enhance and automate reporting processes, ensuring compliance with Zurich’s actuarial policies and regulatory standards.

What you bring

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years actuarial experience, ideally with reserving or reinsurance exposure
• Full actuarial qualification, or active pursuit of one
• Proficiency in programming with SQL, VBA, R, and PowerBI; experience in reserving application development and design is a plus
• Structured, independent working style with strong communication skills and fluency in English
