Job summary

Zurich Insurance in Switzerland is seeking an actuarial professional to strengthen the Life Economic Modelling & Statistics unit. You will take responsibility for economic valuation models and actuarial metrics, including IFRS 17 and SST, driving insights for business decisions.

You will develop and automate models and processes using SQL, PROPHET, Python and R, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in actuarial/science/quant field.
• Fully or nearly qualified actuary (SAA/SAV or equivalent).
• Strong experience in developing, maintaining and reviewing actuarial models and financial metrics.
• Experience with modelling, data and automation tools.
• Fluent in English with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance economic valuation models in PROPHET for Life Insurance Switzerland.
• Deliver, review and challenge IFRS 17 and SST actuarial metrics with accuracy.
• Translate complex analyses into clear insights for senior management.
• Lead actuarial projects and ad-hoc analyses.
• Automate actuarial processes using SQL, PROPHET, Python and R.
