Zusammenfassung

Zurich Switzerland is seeking a senior actuarial modeller to shape economic valuation and financial reporting for its Life Insurance unit. You will combine actuarial expertise with economic modelling, data analytics and automation to deliver insights for business decisions.

You will strengthen the IL Economic Modelling & Statistics team, developing models and metrics for IFRS 17 and SST, and translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations for senior management.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, physics or comparable quantitative field.
• Fully or nearly qualified actuary (SAA/SAV or equivalent) with relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in developing, maintaining and critically reviewing actuarial models and financial metrics.
• Strong technical and analytical capabilities, including experience with modelling, data and automation tools.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain and enhance economic valuation models in PROPHET for Life Insurance Switzerland.
• Deliver, review and challenge actuarial metrics for IFRS 17 and SST, ensuring accurate and timely results.
• Translate complex actuarial analyses into clear insights and recommendations for senior management.
• Lead and contribute to key actuarial projects, initiatives and ad-hoc analyses.
• Improve and automate actuarial processes and models using tools such as SQL, PROPHET, Python and R.
