Zusammenfassung

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in Zurich, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Actuarial Analyst to shape economic valuation and financial reporting for the life insurance business. You will develop models, translate analyses into actionable insights, and drive automation within the IL Economic Modelling & Statistics team.

You will work with PROPHET, SQL and R to enhance valuation models, deliver IFRS 17 and SST metrics, and lead actuarial initiatives in a collaborative, English-speaking environment.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, physics or a comparable quantitative field.
• Fully or nearly qualified actuary (SAA/SAV or equivalent) with relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in developing, maintaining and critically reviewing actuarial models and financial metrics.
• Strong technical and analytical capabilities, including experience with modelling, data and automation tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills combined with fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain and enhance economic valuation models in PROPHET for Life Insurance Switzerland.
• Deliver, review and challenge actuarial metrics for IFRS 17 and SST.
• Translate complex actuarial analyses into clear insights and recommendations for senior management.
• Lead and contribute to key actuarial projects, initiatives and ad-hoc analyses.
• Improve and automate actuarial processes and models using SQL, PROPHET, and R.
