Position Summary

At Jet Aviation, we are offering an opportunity to elevate your career within a renowned leader in the aviation industry. For our Basel team, we seek a Senior Financial Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in the group consolidation department.

Your role

• Financial Stewardship : Prepare, maintain, and reconcile key financial documents, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, capital expenditure reports, and VAT declarations.
• End-to-End Closings : Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings under US GAAP and Swiss GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Insightful Analysis : Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
• Strategic Collaboration : Partner with internal and external stakeholders, delivering top-tier financial support and driving business decisions.
• Audit Excellence : Ensure audit readiness and support internal and external audits with professionalism.

Your profile

• Commercial accounting education
• Several years of experience in a similar role within an international company
• Results-driven with precision, accountability, and customer focus
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
• Expertise in Swiss GAAP and US GAAP
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP (R / 3, S4)
