ACCA Careers is seeking an immediately available senior accounting and finance professional to reinforce its finance function during a period of reduced internal capacity. The role covers day-to-day accounting for several entities, including payments and reconciliations, with attention to audit trails.

Responsibilities include monthly/annual closing support, Swiss GAAP FER reporting, VAT coordination, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Senior accounting or finance professional with substantial hands-on experience.
• Fluent professional English; French and/or German are advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Experience with multiple legal entities in international groups is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Take responsibility for day-to-day accounting of several entities.
• Record, review and control accounting entries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare bank, intercompany, balance-sheet and other account reconciliations.
• Maintain complete accounting records and audit trails; manage AR/AP and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare payments under established approval processes and monitor liquidity.
• Support period-end closing and financial reporting, including Swiss GAAP FER and UK tax exposure.
• Coordinate VAT returns and assist external auditors; support budgeting and forecasting.
