- Network Security Management
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining resilient network architectures to mitigate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
- Optimizing performance and enhancing security posture by implementing network segmentation and deploying traffic monitoring solutions, such as Network Access Control (NAC) and Firewalls, to fortify defenses against potential threats.
- Enforcing least privilege and trust access, verifying each user or machine request, by deploying Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Security Systems Administration
- Administering security systems, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Monitoring security events and alerts, investigating potential threats, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Data Protection
- Safeguarding sensitive information and preventing unauthorized access, transmission, or leakage of data within the bank.
- Implementing DLP technologies and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Vulnerability Management
- Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses in network infrastructure and applications.
- Developing and implementing remediation plans to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Incident Response and Forensics
- Responding to security incidents promptly and effectively.
- Conducting forensic analysis to determine root causes, contain impacts, and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners for incident response and recovery.
- Technical Documentation, Policies, and Training
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of network and security configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Developing and maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Providing security awareness training to employees.
- Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s in Information Security preferred.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Good technical knowledge of operating systems and security technologies, including Fortinet solutions, Microsoft systems, vulnerabilities detection tools, SIEM, DLP, and networking standards.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, risk concepts, and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
