Job summary

Nicoll Curtin is seeking an experienced Securities Transfer Specialist to join a Zurich-based operations team. You will process and monitor global transfers, issue settlement instructions to custodians/CDSs, and work with SWIFT MT540–MT543 messages to resolve settlement issues.

Fluency in German and English is required. Experience with SIS Portal, BBH Infuse, and Clearstream Xact is advantageous, and the role involves coordination with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.

Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of securities settlement and post-trade operations.
Hands-on experience with SWIFT MT540/541/542/543.
Experience handling settlement discrepancies, reconciliations and post-trade issues.
Fluent in German and English.
Experience with SIS Portal, BBH Infuse and Clearstream Xact is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Process, instruct and monitor global free-of-payment transfers across equities, bonds and funds.
Issue settlement instructions to custodians and CSDs.
Work with SWIFT MT540-MT543 messages and other settlement channels.
Monitor outstanding transactions and resolve settlements and discrepancies.
Investigate settlement breaks and related fees.
Perform booking and reconciliation activities.
Communicate with counterparties and internal stakeholders on settlement matters.
Manage inquiries via email/phone and support daily team activities.
