The Scrum Master position in Zurich targets a German-speaking candidate for a long-term contract with a banking client. The role requires three days onsite per week and centers on facilitating Scrum, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement to deliver value on time.

You will ensure effective ceremonies, remove blockers, coach the team toward self-organization, and maintain transparency of the delivery process. This is a client-facing banking project in Zurich.

Aufgaben

• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies and ensures they run efficiently.
• Ensures the quality of Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) so each one contributes to the pod's delivery in scope and schedule.
• Removes impediments to keep Sprint Goals on track and minimize long-term delivery risk.
• Supports the pod in continuously improving efficiency across the software delivery process.
• Keeps meetings on schedule and within their allocated time, helping the team stay focused and outcome-oriented.
• Owns the quality of the process — without interfering in content decisions — to maintain transparency and quality standards in pod delivery.
• Produces reporting artifacts (e.g., Burndown Charts) to keep feature deliveries aligned with BRP commitments.
• Creates an environment where the team can perform at its best.
• Promotes collaboration within the team to help it reach its goals efficiently.
• Encourages face-to-face communication so every team member can contribute their perspective.
• Coaches the team toward self-organization and greater efficiency.
• Ensures adherence to agile principles and practices.
• Shields pod members from external influences to protect Sprint Goals and reduce delivery risk.
• Actively monitors assigned IT components and applications to support efficient incident management.
