Job summary

dsm‑firmenich in Geneva is seeking a Savory Associate Application Technologist to turn flavors and ingredients into soups, sauces, snack mixes, and plant-based foods. You will work hands-on in labs, support prototype development, and contribute to sensory evaluation with clear reports.

You will coordinate savory applications across projects, develop formulation bases, attend global customer meetings with sales and senior technical colleagues, and showcase a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Fluent in English (French language skills are an asset).
• Experience supporting savory or flavor applications preferred.
• Strong formulation and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support savory flavor applications across projects.
• Develop savory bases and prototype concepts for flavors and ingredients.
• Participate in savory formulation work and troubleshooting with team support.
• Apply knowledge of flavors, ingredients, and savory processes with internal partners.
• Support sensory tastings, data recording, and cross‑functional collaboration.
