Job summary

dsm-firmenich seeks a Savory Associate Application Technologist to turn flavors and ingredients into tasty soups, sauces, and plant-based foods. You’ll work hands-on in labs and kitchens, build prototypes, and support sensory evaluation with reports and presentations.

English fluency is essential; French is a plus. You will coordinate savory flavor applications across projects, develop bases, and contribute to formulation work while collaborating with internal partners and global customers.

Qualifications

• Formulation skills in food systems and ability to troubleshoot with team guidance.
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities to manage multiple projects.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support savory flavor applications across projects.
• Develop savory application bases and prototype concepts showcasing flavors and technologies.
• Participate in savory formulation work with internal partners.
• Apply technical knowledge of flavors, ingredients and processes while collaborating with the team.
• Support sensory tastings, data recording, and observations.
• Attend global customer meetings and technical discussions with sales and senior colleagues.
