Job Overview

As an SAP Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our SAP solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to understand client requirements, articulate the value proposition of our SAP offerings, and effectively communicate how our solutions align with their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The individual will be accountable for the overall SAP order book across the assigned portfolio of accounts within the Germany and Austria region.
  2. Engage with the CXOs and business owners and build strong customer relationships.
  3. Create a deep understanding of the client’s business, their challenges, and strategies within their existing SAP setup.
  4. Work effectively with globally distributed technical and SAP pre-sales team in shaping proactive opportunities, RFP/RFI responses, solutions, and presentations.
  5. Lead generation working with alliances, marketing and through professional network.
  6. Work with the individual account teams to create Business Development Plans for the account and joint execution with respect to SAP portfolio.
  7. Lead and own end-to-end solution development – architect and orchestrate solution development by working with Business Units / SAP Presales and solution leads / delivery and offer the best value proposition from Wipro – S/4 HANA Transformation Programs, Migrations, AMS, Upgrades including Cloud related offerings.
  8. Excellent customer interface skills – communication & ability to deliver presentation, drive meetings.
  9. Develop long term valued relationships with the client.
  10. Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, work effectively under high pressure, growth mode.
  11. Experience in the Consumer and MFG industry segments will be a clear advantage.
  12. Prior experience in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment or any experience with a Global Delivery Model based IT Services Company will be an added advantage.
Skills:
  1. Minimum of 15 years Solutioning/ selling/closing deals in IT Services & Consulting.
  2. 10 years of experience selling SAP services space in one of the following areas: S/4HANA transformations, SAP LoB solutions like SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP on Azure/AWS/GCP.
  3. Expertise in Public Cloud and IT transformation.
  4. Digital and Business Transformation experience is preferred.
  5. Strong understanding of SAP solutions and their application across various industries.
  6. 10+ years of relevant business experience gained within a large Consulting or SI organization as either a consultant or sales professional, with at least 5 years of relevant sales experience.
  7. SAP pre-sales / sales cycles and leading / senior architecture roles on 5+ SAP projects.
  8. Knowledge on SAP solutions portfolio.
  9. Minimum of 3 years’ record of sales quota attainment against a $8-10M or higher target.
