Position Description
We are seeking an experienced, purpose-driven SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to provide high-level functional and technical support across multiple implementation and optimization projects within our Employee Central practice.
The successful candidate must have hands-on experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. This includes experience with core HR processes, data models, foundation objects, workflows, business rules, role-based permissions, position management, and employee data migration.
Experience with additional SAP SuccessFactors modules—such as Employee Central Payroll (ECP), Onboarding 2.0, Recruiting Management, or Benefits—is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities- Leading or supporting SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support engagements.
- Gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into effective Employee Central solutions.
- Leading or supporting client design workshops and recommending solutions based on business requirements and SAP leading practices.
- Designing and configuring Employee Central functionality, including data models, foundation objects, workflows, business rules, event reasons, position management, and role-based permissions.
- Supporting employee data conversion, validation, migration, and reconciliation activities.
- Developing and executing test plans, test scripts, and quality-assurance processes.
- Identifying project risks, configuration gaps, and process-improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with project team members to support successful integration between Employee Central and other SAP SuccessFactors modules, payroll systems, benefits platforms, and third-party applications.
- Troubleshooting configuration, data, security, and integration issues and recommending sustainable solutions.
- Clearly documenting system configurations, requirements, design decisions, business processes, and testing outcomes.
- Effectively transferring knowledge to clients for ongoing system administration, maintenance, and support.
- Supporting end-user and administrator training as needed.
- Staying current on SAP SuccessFactors releases, product enhancements, and Employee Central leading practices.
- Maintaining current SAP SuccessFactors certifications and subject-matter expertise in assigned solution areas.
Requirements
Required Qualifications- Five or more years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors consulting or implementation experience, with substantial responsibility for Employee Central.
- Current SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification.
- Experience completing at least two full-cycle Employee Central implementations, from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Advanced knowledge of Employee Central functionality, including:
- Corporate, country-specific, and succession data models
- Foundation Objects and MDF Objects
- Business rules and workflows
- Event reasons and employee lifecycle transactions
- Position Management
- Role-Based Permissions
- Picklists, alerts, and notifications
- Imports, mass changes, and data migration
- Experience leading client workshops, gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and translating business needs into system configurations.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts, process documentation, and training materials.
- Demonstrated ability to perform system testing, troubleshoot configuration and data issues, and support user acceptance testing.
- Understanding of integrations between Employee Central and other SAP SuccessFactors modules, payroll platforms, benefits systems, identity-management solutions, and third-party applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client priorities and deliverables in a deadline-driven consulting environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with client stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative project team.
- Commitment to maintaining current knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors releases, product enhancements, and leading practices.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Employee Central Payroll, Onboarding 2.0, Benefits, Time Off, Time Tracking, Compensation, Recruiting, or other SAP SuccessFactors modules.
- Experience with global Employee Central implementations involving multiple countries, legal entities, languages, currencies, or regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, Integration Center, APIs, and standard Employee Central integration patterns.
- Experience with Employee Central data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
- Experience supporting Employee Central implementations for complex or highly regulated organizations.
- Additional current SAP SuccessFactors certifications.
- Previous experience working for an SAP partner or professional-services consulting organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
