Symbios Orthopédie S.A. is expanding its sales team in the Bern region and seeks a driven Sales Representative for Central Switzerland to promote orthopedic implants and support customers in OR settings.

The successful candidate will leverage 5+ years of medical device sales, strong knowledge of hip and knee products, and fluent German (English B2+). You will work autonomously, manage orders, and help implement the commercial strategy in a fast-growing, international company.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of sales experience in medical devices or related field.
• Several years of operating room experience is required.
• Clinical/technical knowledge of hip/knee products is a plus.
• German language proficiency (native) and English at least B2; French is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Promote Symbios products and provide technical support to grow sales in the Central Switzerland/Bern region.
• Provide technical and commercial support in operating rooms.
• Prospect, visit customers and present products to establish market share.
• Retain existing customers and acquire new ones to meet objectives.
• Contribute to follow-up and implementation of the commercial strategy.
• Manage administrative aspects related to operations.
• Gather market trend information and report it clearly.
• Forward customer orders promptly and comply with prices and terms.
• Keep the company regularly informed about progress of tasks.

To strengthen our Sales team in Central Switzerland (Bern region) and support our growth, we are looking for a

Sales Representative - Orthopedics(Central Switzerland – Bern region)

Responsibilities:

Promote the products and provide technical support in order to develop sales and increase Symbios’ market share in the Central Switzerland / Bern region.

• Provide technical and commercial support in operating rooms.
• Promote the use of Symbios products by prospecting, visiting customers, and presenting the products.
• Retain existing customers and acquire new ones, ensuring that objectives are met.
• Actively contribute to the follow-up and implementation of the commercial strategy.
• Manage administrative aspects, particularly those related to operations.
• Gather information on market trends and report it in a structured manner.
• Forward all customer orders to the company without delay. Strictly comply with the company’s prices, discounts, and general sales conditions, as well as any changes the company may introduce at any time.
• Keep the company regularly and continuously informed about the progress of assigned tasks.

Profile we are looking for:

• An entrepreneurial, motivated, and enthusiastic personality!
• At least 5 years of sales experience
• Several years of experience in the operating room environment required
• Clinical/technical knowledge of hip/knee products is an asset
• You work in a structured and strategic manner and can understand complex technical systems
• You are comfortable with standard IT tools
• You enjoy interacting with people, have natural empathy, and work in a solution- and customer‑oriented way
• You enjoy working autonomously, with the flexibility required in the field, and can adapt to daily unforeseen situations
• You are a native German speaker and have a good command of English (minimum B2 level). French skills are an asset.
