Qualifikationen

As a Sales Executive for flight simulators in the APAC region, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding customer relationships and selling complex training solutions to civil and military aviation customers. You will identify new business opportunities, manage the entire sales process through to completion, and represent the company at international trade shows and events in the region. In doing so, you will work closely with internal specialist departments and make a significant contribution to growth in a strategically important market.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales responsibility for the APAC region with focus on new and existing customers in civil and military aviation sectors
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders at small and medium-sized operators, approved training organizations, training centers and private customers
  • Offer management: preparation, negotiation, and conclusion of offers and contracts in close cooperation with Engineering, Legal, and Finance
  • Market analysis: monitoring trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities in the APAC region
  • Company representation: participation in trade shows, conferences, and tenders to represent the company and generate leads
  • Reporting: maintenance of the CRM system, regular forecasting, and reporting to sales management

YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

  • BSc in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MSc preferred), or comparable commercial/technical vocational training
  • Several years of sales experience with complex technical investment goods, ideally in aviation simulators or aviation technology
  • In-depth understanding of the aviation industry and regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, ICAO)
  • Strong intercultural skills and experience with business cultures in APAC
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience in public procurement and tendering processes, especially in the military sector, is an advantage
  • Independent working style, willingness to travel frequently (up to 40%), strong focus on closing deals
  • Fluent in business English and German; additional regional languages are an advantage
  • A work permit for Switzerland is required for this position
