The new Accor Group hotels, ibis Styles and Adagio, were recently built in the heart of Zurich, a four-minute walk from Zurich Central Station.

The hotel combo has a total of 268 rooms, divided into two brands in the 3- and 4-star categories.

The hotel's large communal areas offer our customers everything they need for an unforgettable stay : a reception area, a bar, a breakfast room / restaurant, a fitness room and a sauna. The hotel also has an underground car park and four fully equipped conference rooms.

Introduction

We are currently looking for a committed and innovative

Sales & Events Coordinator (m / f) from September 1st 2025 on, to join our beautiful, modern Hotel Combo ibis Styles & Aparthotel Adagio Zurich City Center on a full-time basis.

As a member of our Sales Team, you will be part of a young and dynamic team working in a modern environment with an exclusive design.

Detailed missions :

  • handling of the incoming meeting and events requests :

getting acquainted with the regular meeting and events clients

  • ensuring the coming back of these regular clients
  • responsible for all the group bookings at the restaurant
  • sending appropriate meeting and events offers to the clients' requests using the appropriate tools (Back You, Opera Cloud,…)
  • answering the client with an adapted and personalized approach
  • managing client expectations and needs based upon individual queries
  • ensuring final invoices are sent out to the client in a timely and precise manner
  • informing FO, F&B and relevant departments via detailed function sheets communicated on a weekly basis (final number of people, last minute changes, food restrictions, payment terms, etc)
  • coordinating the events from request until final invoice including onsite support (personalized welcome, set-up of the meeting room, IT coordination and onsite help, printing of the signage, printing of the menus etc)
  • communicating effectively within the department on a daily basis with the Sales team
  • reporting on a weekly basis on the main incoming requests and business during the previous week
  • support the sales team with the groups bookings with meeting rooms :

sending & monitoring offers, following-up on options and sending business and leisure group contracts for our hotels, with meeting rooms

  • entering group booking requests and enter them on Back You and Opera Cloud
  • finalization of groups until the sending of the final invoice after the departure of the customers (rooming list, monitoring of deposits and prepayments, welcoming VIP rooms, sending invoices, monitoring customer satisfaction and managing last-minute requests from customers)
  • directly reporting to the Senior Sales Manager

Your profile

Requirements :

  • Previous hotel experience, additional + events and sales
  • Opera Cloud knowledge preferable but not mandatory (booking process, accounting, alerts, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Client- and solution-oriented
