• Transfer safe, economically viable, and industrially amenable processes to production.
• Manage research projects end to end from development through industrialization.
• Review literature and patents; participate in seminars and meetings to stay current.
• Initiate external collaborations with academic or industrial partners.
• Ensure high environmental, health, and safety standards and contribute to safety improvements.
• Document results and communicate progress through reports and presentations.
• Lead a team of 1–2 laboratory technicians.
