The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree or 3–5 years industrial experience in synthetic chemistry, with strong expertise in reaction design, retrosynthesis, purification, and data analysis using synthesis design software.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Organic Chemistry Technician to join a major project with one of our clients in the chemical sector, based in the area of Basel.

Your main responsibilities:

• Drive research from discovery to development with safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of target molecules
• Execute and design synthetic routes independently and collaboratively, leveraging tools and platforms
• Perform detailed risk assessments in line with HSE standards
• Ensure precise documentation of experiments and data for reproducibility
• Solve synthetic chemistry challenges
• Stay up to date with modern synthetic methods and technologies
• Support continuous improvement of lab safety, productivity, and ways of working

Your profile:

• Master’s degree or 3–5 years of industrial experience in synthetic chemistry
• Strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry including reaction design, retrosynthesis, troubleshooting, purification, and structural elucidation with HSE standards
• Skilled in using software tools for synthesis design and data analysis
• Proficiency in English required, additional languages appreciated
