Hexagon Robotics, a division of Hexagon, seeks a Software Application Architect to drive translation of system and software architecture into robust implementations for humanoid robot software subsystems. You will shape an architecture and development environment across robotics software stacks, ensuring timely and consistent realization.

Ideal candidates have ~10 years in software engineering in industrial/embedded domains, strong real-time expertise, and proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS;

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree required in CS or related field.
• Strong background in industrial software architectures and modern standards.
• ~10 years of software engineering experience, ideally in industrial/embedded apps.
• Expertise in designing and implementing hard real-time systems.

Aufgaben

• Own translation of defined software architecture into flexible components.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to convey architecture principles.
• Ensure clean, low-dependency implementations throughout development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Build System, DevOps, industrialization and QA teams for a flexible architecture.
• Maintain interfaces between subsystems to ensure low coupling.
• Balance implementation complexity with defined timelines.
