Zusammenfassung

Hexagon Robotics, a division of Hexagon, is seeking a Robot Operator to help build and tune humanoid robot systems for industrial automation. You will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art robots and contribute to data collection and policy evaluation in real projects.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or completed vocational training with practical robotics experience.
  • Experience operating robots; ROS2 highly preferred.
  • Strong drive, reliability and a demonstrated work ethic.
  • Team player with good organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Robot Operator - Dexterous Manipulation (f/m/d)

Hexagon Robotics is a division of Hexagon – a global leader in precision measurement. The division develops humanoid robots for industrial sectors to address labor shortages and accelerate the transition from automation to autonomy. Our first humanoid, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and is already in pilots with five customers.

We are looking for a skilled and driven Robot Operator to join our robotics team developing humanoid robots for industrial automation. This role offers hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge robots and the opportunity to play a critical part in applying robotic automation and embodied AI to a wide range of customer use cases.

Your Mission

Build and curate high‑quality robot training datasets through hands‑on teleoperation

Rigorously evaluate the performance of trained robotic skills across a wide variety of real‑world operating conditions

Collaborate with engineers and researchers to continuously improve the processes for training, evaluating, and deploying policies on our robots

Help establish best practices for robot operation, data collection, and policy evaluation

Your Skillset
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or a completed technical vocational apprenticeship/training (Lehre, EFZ or EBA) with practical experience, is welcome
  • Practical experience operating robots; experience with ROS2 is highly preferred
  • Strong personal drive, reliability, and a demonstrated work ethic
  • Comfort working within a team on fast‑moving projects
  • Good organizational, documentation, and communication skills
