A leading healthcare provider in Switzerland is seeking a licensed registered nurse with critical care experience. The candidate must possess a BSN and necessary certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and be comfortable floating across different units including ICU and ER. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential as this role involves teamwork and effective communication within a dynamic environment.
Must be cross trained for multiple units (med/surg, ICU, ER). Must have a BSN and critical care experience.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS (AHA or RQI specifically).
MUST BE COMFORTABLE FLOATING TO ICU / ER / MS / MST
License : Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. Basic Coronary Care certification within months of hire. CPI certification within days of hire.
Preferred Certifications : Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within years of hire. TNCC recommended within years of hire.
Other : Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and promote teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Computer literacy preferred.
Preferred : Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

The staff member must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including understanding growth and development principles, assessing patient data, and interpreting information to identify patient needs.
