The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for managing and controlling all credit, market, operational, enterprise, and liquidity risks. It also focuses on developing methods for risk measurement, frameworks, and fostering a strong risk culture across the bank.

The Competence Center WM Risk acts as a single-entry point for both Lending WM and various Risk units. It is responsible for local data management and reporting, as well as providing regional input for global WM reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory reporting with different frequencies (Portfolio Reports, Shortfall Reports, etc.)
  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting on demand
  • Data maintenance in systems (AVALOQ, GCRS, etc.)
  • Handling smaller but critical issues and escalations as required
  • Focusing on high-complexity processes requiring detailed analysis, interpretation, and understanding of underlying data models to deliver results within specified timeframes
  • Development and maintenance of reporting platforms and industrialization of reporting via strategic infrastructure (Qlik Sense, RACE, etc.)
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and communicating effectively across all organizational levels, including senior management
  • Supporting diverse projects (IT System rollouts, UAT)
  • Aligning and enhancing regulatory reporting (Risk / Finance alignment)
  • Preparing presentations for Senior Management

Skills

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant professional experience, preferably in IT projects
  • Strong knowledge of loan portfolios (Mortgages, Lombard, Derivatives)
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and comply with third-party requirements
  • Advanced programming skills (SQL, SAS; Python / C++ a plus)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (VBA, Co-Plot)
  • Fluent English; additional languages (French / German) valued
  • Strong data analysis and technical expertise
  • Independent, resilient, and proactive in process improvement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Team-oriented, service-driven, and highly motivated
