Job summary

Mirabaud Group in Geneva is seeking an experienced risk manager to lead second line controls for financial risks within private banking and asset management. You will monitor market, liquidity, and credit risks and contribute to risk analysis tools.

The role requires a Master in Economics or Finance, 7+ years in risk management, fluency in French and English, and strong analytical and data skills; FINMA/Basel knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master in Economics or Finance or equivalent.
• Financial Risk Manager certification is an asset.
• Minimum of 7 years of risk management experience.
• Very good knowledge of FINMA/Basel regulations.
• Fluent in French and English; another language is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools; knowledge of VBA, Power BI, DAX & Python is an asset.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to improve data tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the development, implementation and execution of controls of second line of defense for financial risks.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on market risk, liquidity risk, and credit risk exposures across private banking activities including complex exposures coming from derivatives trading.
• Contribute to the development of risk analysis and monitoring tools (Bank and Group).
• Design and enhance risk models, stress-testing methodologies, and limit frameworks to align with risk appetite.
• Ensure full alignment with evolving financial regulations.
• Produce regulatory interest rate risk reports and stress tests.
• Assessment of financial counterparties and monitoring of their respective limits.
• Define and control securities loan to values (LTV) for Lombard loans.
• Ensure risk monitoring processes and the production of risk reporting for Bank and Group.
• Promote the risk culture within the bank and the group.
