Zusammenfassung

Fortil is seeking an RF/Antenna Engineer (M/F) to join our R&D team in the canton of Vaud. You will design, simulate, test and characterize RF subsystems and antennas for demanding communication applications, progressing from demonstrators toward industrialized products.

You will work with cross-disciplinary teams across Ka, Ku, X, C and S bands, applying hands-on measurement skills and robust problem solving in a multinational environment. English fluency is required.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on RF, microwave or antenna engineering.
• Experience in design, simulation, testing or characterization of RF subsystems and antennas.
• Fluent English and proven collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to design, simulation, testing and characterization of RF subsystems and antennas.
• Collaborate with RF/antenna engineers to define test strategies and characterization activities.
• Develop and evaluate RF structures and phased-array antenna solutions.
• Support RF solutions across Ka, Ku, X, C and S bands.
• Prepare and operate RF measurement and characterization setups.
• Analyze and correlate simulated and measured performance.
• Investigate unexpected results and perform root-cause analyses.
• Define corrective actions with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to technical design reviews and engineering trade-offs.
• Collaborate with external partners and laboratories.
• Produce accurate technical documentation and test reports.
• Support transition from demonstrators to industrialized products.
• Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, software and system teams.
