Job summary

Accelleron invites an innovative R&D Engineer to design and mature compressors and turbines for turbocharger applications. You will own aerodynamic and mechanical design, oversee validation, and support manufacturing readiness while shaping the technology roadmap.

With a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in compressor/turbine development, you’ll collaborate across disciplines in a global team, using Python, MATLAB, and CFD/FEA tools. German language willingness is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in compressor or turbine development.
• Solid understanding of turbomachinery and aerodynamics/thermodynamics.
• Experience with 3D CFD tools and FEA/FEM; programming in Python and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Design compressors and turbines considering aerothermodynamics and mechanical integrity.
• Own product validation and qualification activities.
• Support advanced concept studies and roadmap shaping.
• Act as internal contact for product lines and coordinate testing with facilities.
