We are looking for a Retail Design Project Leader for our Marketing Department.

Job Overview

We seek a dynamic and visionary Retail Design Project Leader to spearhead the global design and development of our retail environments. This role involves defining and executing the design strategy for our spaces, ensuring each location reflects our brand's heritage, values, and aesthetic while optimizing customer experience and operational efficiency. The Retail Environment Store Design Leader will oversee space planning, design execution, and implementation, ensuring alignment with retail standards, sustainability practices, and emerging trends. The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and experienced in branding, project management, and delivering innovative, cost-effective, customer-centric solutions.

Main Responsibilities

1. Define and lead the store design strategy, aligning with brand guidelines and standards, integrating innovative and sustainable design trends.
2. Create concept designs, layout plans, and schematic design packages for new stores, remodels, and renovations, maintaining high standards.
3. Collaborate with internal teams (merchandising, operations, marketing) and external vendors (architects, engineers, consultants) to develop cohesive retail environments.
4. Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery while upholding quality.
5. Ensure retail environments reflect brand identity and values, adapting solutions to local markets as needed.
6. Develop and maintain global store design guidelines and standards for consistency across regions.
7. Drive innovation in store design focusing on sustainability, new materials, and technologies to enhance customer experience and efficiency.

Profile

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in retail store design, space planning, and project management.
• Proven experience in designing and executing retail projects globally.
• Strong portfolio showcasing retail environment expertise.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools like Smartsheet.
• Experience with sustainability principles and eco-friendly design solutions.
• Exceptional communication and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage external relationships.
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting, and construction practices.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solver, capable of managing multiple projects under deadlines.
