Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Research Manager to join the Global Humanitarian Planning and Prioritization Unit at HQ.

The role involves overseeing the development, strategy, and delivery of the Research and Development (R&D) team. The candidate should be capable of representing IMPACT with donors and liaising with senior external partners. The position requires both analytical and managerial skills, including coordinating with external data actors, humanitarian clusters, or donors, and providing analytical oversight of research products.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading the R&D team in research development and strategy.
  • Representing IMPACT in donor relations and external partnerships.
  • Overseeing research projects and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinating with external stakeholders and internal teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Gross monthly salary between 6,000 CHF and 6,330 CHF (before income tax), including a 450 CHF contribution for medical insurance.
  • Insurance coverage for accidents during employment.
  • Health, life, and repatriation insurance during field visits or deployments.
  • Enrollment in IMPACT Initiatives Research Foundational Learning Programme within the first 3 months.
