Our client, a Swiss high-tech company, seeks a Research Associate in Chemistry to join a dynamic R&D team. You will design, synthesize and characterize novel photoactive molecules for use in advanced display applications, working with multidisciplinary teams to push performance and sustainability.

The role requires a Master's in Chemistry, at least 2 years of industrial R&D experience, fluency in English and German, and hands-on skills with NMR, HPLC, UV-Vis and DSC.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in synthetic/preparative chemistry.
• Experience with analytical techniques (NMR, HPLC, UV-Vis, DSC) and data interpretation.
• Excellent command of English and German.

Aufgaben

• Design, synthesis and characterization of photoactive molecules for high-performance materials in display tech.
• Develop and optimize synthetic routes to improve yield, purity, scalability and sustainability.
• Perform laboratory experiments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Characterize materials using NMR, HPLC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, DSC and other analyses.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate performance in display-related systems.
• Support scale-up activities and technology transfer when required.
• Conduct literature and patent searches to identify emerging technologies and competitors.
