The role emphasizes independent execution, efficient route design, and collaboration with automation, analytical and purification teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Organic/Synthetic Chemistry and 2+ years of related experience, with strong documentation and safety practices, and fluent English mandatory.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree preferred in Organic Chemistry / Synthetic Chemistry.
• Ideally at least 2 years of professional experience as a Research Scientist in synthetic organic chemistry; juniors with relevant Master’s can be considered.
• Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry, including reaction design, retrosynthesis, troubleshooting, purification and structural elucidation.
• Comfortable using software and digital tools for synthesis design and data analysis.
• Independent, self-motivated and collaborative within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong focus on laboratory safety and high-quality scientific documentation.
• Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages are advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Independently execute synthetic organic chemistry routes in a safe, effective and sustainable manner.
• Design efficient synthetic routes to target molecules using scientific expertise and digital tools.
• Collaborate with automation, analytical and purification teams.
• Perform risk assessments of experimental procedures and raw materials per HSE requirements.
• Troubleshoot synthetic chemistry challenges and contribute to scientific problem solving.
• Accurately document experimental procedures and data for reproducibility and IP.
