Für unseren Kunden, ein internationales Pharmaunternehmen, suchen wir per Sofort eine/n Research Associate (m/f) in vivo gene therapy in Rare Blood Disorders.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  1. Executing diverse in vivo experiments (i.v. injections, blood and plasma collection, bleeding and thrombosis models or similar) and managing necessary animal welfare requirements (LTK1).
  2. Characterizing efficacy and safety of novel gene therapy assets using molecular and biochemical techniques (ELISA, Thrombin generation assay, chromogenic assays, etc.) in murine and human samples.
  3. Preparation, handling and in vitro/ex vivo testing and analysis of patient-derived material, including blood and plasma.
  4. Collaborating on the development of new experimental strategies and custom assays with our research scientists.
  5. General lab management and organization, incl. maintenance, safety, inventory, etc.
  6. Contributing to data analysis and communicating results to the team.
  7. Taking and maintaining detailed documentation of data.

Must Haves:

  1. MSc/BSc in Life Sciences (cellular/molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology), or completion of an apprenticeship for a research associate (“Lehrabschluss”) with at least 3 years of academic or industry experience.
  2. Allowance to conduct animal experimentation (active LTK1, FELASA or equivalent) and experience with rodents is necessary, including intravenous injections and blood collection; surgery experience is a plus.
  3. Extensive mouse work experience.
  4. High motivation, flexibility, and excellent organizational skills to support our team.
  5. You can communicate fluently in English.
  6. Open and collaborative spirit.
  7. Vigorous “can do” mentality to succeed in a dynamic and highly collaborative research team.
