Jobgether is seeking a YouTube Video Editor based in Switzerland for a remote-first, flexible role. You will turn raw footage into polished videos, craft motion graphics, and apply YouTube SEO to boost reach while collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure high production quality.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of editing experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, and strong storytelling with an engaging visual style.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably YouTube content.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement techniques.
• Knowledge of YouTube policies and optimization best practices.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for YouTube.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on objectives, branding, and audience.
• Create custom graphics, animations, and visual elements that reflect each brand.
• Source and integrate music and audio elements to enhance storytelling.
• Apply YouTube SEO best practices to improve discoverability.
• Export final videos in required formats for each platform.
• Organize and back up video assets to maintain workflows.
• Stay informed about YouTube policies and trends; suggest improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve editing techniques and processes.
