The Content Engine is seeking a Video Editor to join our creative team of Content Engineers. This is a fully remote role with GMT/CET coordination, a Geneva presence, and collaboration with a global client base.

You will transform briefs and scripts into high‑quality social videos (roughly two 60‑second pieces per day), work with external freelancers and client teams, and contribute ideas to improve content, platform and processes.

The Content Engine is looking for a Video Editor to join our talented, creative team of Content Engineers. Our video editors take a brief and a script and turn them into attention grabbing video content. You will bring new ideas, creativity and proven technical skills to constantly innovate and keep our customers’ video content best in class. This is an amazing opportunity to join a remote digital content agency with a fantastic client base.We have an office in Geneva and a main employee presence in the UK; this is a fully remote role, working on GMT/CET time zone.

Contribute to the success of The Content Engine by providing top quality creative work tailored to the needs of our clients, including:

Compelling, high quality video content

Working with clients to understand their needs, including participating in weekly editorial meetings

Using analytics to fine-tune our publishing approach

Contributing ideas about how we can improve our content, platform and processes

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Experience in using the video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and cloud-based products

Experience in creating social video in a variety of formats and for different channels

Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team, creating roughly two 60-second social media videos a day

Detail oriented and ability to work under own initiative

Ability to multitask and prioritise work

At least two years experience in a similar role

Confidence to work directly with external freelancers, client account teams and senior management

Any graphic design, branding or writing experience would be a strong advantage

Contract duration: Initial 12-month term with strong likelihood of renewal

Salary and benefits: Competitive, based on experience and location, plus profit share, 25 days annual leave plus local national holidays and one ‘life event’ day, flexible working

Full time/part time: Full-time role (part time at minimum 60% FTE will also be considered for the right candidate)

Location: Remote, India preferred
