Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Python Developer based in Switzerland to join a remote-first team building a next-generation mobile app for football fans. You will design robust backend services, implement AI-powered features, and deliver scalable APIs to engage fans and monetize the platform.

You will work with Python frameworks (FastAPI or Flask), integrate external AI APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face), manage data stores (SQL/NoSQL), and containerize with Docker for

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Python backend development for production systems.
• Strong knowledge of FastAPI or Flask and RESTful API design.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services via APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and JSON data exchange.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Docker experience, cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines; Azure familiarity is advantageous.
• Security awareness: OAuth2, JWT and data protection best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend services.
