Job summary

Partner Company in Switzerland seeks a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with Infrastructure & DevOps experience. You will design, build, and maintain data-driven applications using PHP, Laravel, Filament, and PostgreSQL while also managing Proxmox-based infrastructure, Ceph/ZFS storage, and monitoring tooling.

You will split your time around 70% software development and 30% infrastructure and DevOps, with fully remote work and strong focus on reliability and security. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong PHP and Laravel production experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and API/data integrations.
• Knowledge of secure coding, testing, static analysis and code reviews.
• CI/CD, Git-based workflows, Jenkins and deployment automation.
• Infrastructure administration: Linux, virtualization, containers, storage, monitoring, backups, security.
• Preferred: Proxmox, Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Icinga, Grafana, Loki, OVH infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications using PHP, Laravel, Filament, and PostgreSQL.
• Architect, integrate APIs and data exchanges with internal systems.
• Maintain automated testing, static analysis, and code-review practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with Jenkins, Git, and Gitea.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews to teammates.
• Lead incident management and root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Administer high-availability infrastructure (Proxmox, Ceph, ZFS) and monitoring stack (Icinga, Grafana, Loki).
• Ensure security, backup, and recovery processes and capacity planning.
• Document architecture, configurations, and runbooks; share knowledge across teams.
