Job summary

WhiteTech, a remote-first fintech software company, is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to build, test, and support robust backend services. You will refine APIs, integrate third-party solutions, and ensure scalable systems using Symfony, CQRS, DDD, and microservices.

You’ll work with a distributed team across CET-friendly time zones, enjoying fully remote work and opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge fintech projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP backend development with a focus on scalable software.
• Strong OOP and design pattern knowledge.
• Experience with Symfony and RESTful API design.
• Database design and query optimization (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with CQRS, DDD, and microservices architectures.
• Expertise in test automation (PHPUnit, Behat, Codeception).
• DevOps basics: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, release and support software from scratch.
• Enhance and refine API and backend systems.
• Integrate third-party payment solutions and services.
• Write tests and set up testing environments for new features.
• Fix bugs and debug applications in production.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Provide production support for deployed software.
• Collaborate with frontend and other teams for efficient delivery.
• Showcase curiosity for innovation and unconventional solutions.
