Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Lead Security Engineer – Vulnerability Response (Imunify360) based in Switzerland. You will build an AI‑assisted vulnerability response pipeline and extend WAF coverage to ModSecurity and Coraza, while leading security analysts and coordinating with automation, QA, and marketing teams.

You will drive AI‑driven analysis and rule generation, validate outputs, and ensure production‑ready protections, all in a remote‑first environment where fast, reliable protection is

Qualifications

• 5+ years in web or application security including vulnerability research or WAF engineering.
• Deep understanding of web attack classes (SQLi, XSS, RCE, etc.).
• Strong experience writing WAF rules (ModSecurity/SecLang, CRS).
• Regular expressions to translate attack patterns into rules.
• Ability to read PHP source and analyze vulnerabilities.
• Strong Python skills for automation pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Hands-on use of AI/LLM tools with validation of outputs.
• Leadership of security analysts and end‑to‑end projects.
• English proficiency at upper‑intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Own the vulnerability response pipeline from intake to public disclosure.
• Expand automated WAF protection to ModSecurity and Coraza.
• Develop and maintain ModSecurity/SecLang rules.
• Build automated test harnesses to minimize false positives.
• Integrate AI into vulnerability analysis and rule generation.
• Lead and mentor security analysts and manage priorities.
• Measure outcomes: time-to-protection, coverage, false positives.
• Automate security advisories and collaborate with marketing.
• Analyze disclosures and translate findings into defenses.
• Balance speed and precision to protect customers.
