Job summary

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) invites applications for a one-year Traineeship as a Law and Policy Outreach Associate in Geneva. The role supports digital outreach, content creation, and events to promote humanitarian law and policy discussions.

You will work under supervision with the Law and Policy Outreach Advisor and collaborate across the unit. Requirements include an advanced degree in a relevant field, 1–2 years in digital media, and strong English writing skills;

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in Communications, International Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Media or another relevant field.
• 1–2 years of experience in digital media and communications.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support digital outreach strategy implementation and social media campaigns.
• Maintain newsletters via HubSpot and LinkedIn; edit and email content.
• Develop and publish content on web platforms and organize events and promotions.
