The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) seeks a dedicated trainee for the External Engagement team in Geneva. This one-year assignment supports diplomatic work related to humanitarian contexts and IHL, interacting with UN bodies and partners.

You will assist External Engagement Advisors, help maintain the Operational Engagement Knowledge Space, and contribute to events and briefings for the HAA network. Fluency in English is required; French is a strong asset.

Qualifikationen

• Recent University Degree in related social and/or technical sciences.
• Up to two years of relevant professional experience (including internships or volunteer work).
• Experience in humanitarian settings or with UN/IGO is an asset.

• Support External Engagement Advisors in diplomacy-related work for IHL and humanitarian contexts.
• Coordinate with the HAA network and update knowledge spaces and briefing content.
• Assist in organizing events and UN engagements in Geneva.
