Beazley Security, a global cybersecurity firm, is seeking an Incident Response Consultant to help clients respond to and recover from cybersecurity incidents while delivering proactive guidance to strengthen their security posture.

In this fully remote role, you will lead incident response efforts, collaborate with security analysts and engineers, stay current with evolving threats, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in incident response, digital forensics, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in incident response tools and techniques, as well as digital forensic methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving threats and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for clients, identifying, containing, and mitigating incidents promptly.
• Maintain clear and frequent communication with clients during engagements, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Knowledge of enterprise cloud infrastructure (AWS, G-Suite, O365, Azure, etc.).
• Experience in network infrastructure, protocols, and log analysis.
• Knowledge of computer exploitation methodologies.
• Experience with endpoint detection and response tools (Sentinel One, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Cisco AMP).
• Experience with forensic tools (Axiom, FTK, Volatility, X-Ways).
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS, and DLP technologies, memory and volatile data analysis.
• Knowledge of command line tooling (grep, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Prepare detailed incident reports with findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with threat intelligence trends to provide timely guidance to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance incident response processes and capabilities.
