Job summary

Tether seeks a VP of Tech Expansion to drive the global adoption and commercial expansion of its technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Chief Expansion Officer, you will oversee AI, self-custodial infra, and distributed tech initiatives, leading senior professionals worldwide.

You will recruit, develop, and motivate international teams, translating complex needs into scalable technology solutions and partnerships with enterprises, governments, and institutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience across enterprise technology, AI and fintech with senior leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, decentralized infrastructure, and digital platforms.
• Proven experience originating, structuring, and closing major enterprise or government technology partnerships.
• Ability to engage credibly with C-suite executives and government leaders.
• Experience developing global go-to-market strategies across multiple technologies and markets.
• Leadership experience managing senior professionals and international teams.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset in fast-moving environments.
• Global and cross-cultural work experience with a broad professional network.
• MBA or advanced business education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global expansion strategy for Tether’s technology ecosystem.
• Build relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and other senior stakeholders.
• Origin, structure, negotiate, and close major enterprise or government technology partnerships.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global Tech Expansion organization.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, engineering, legal, and regulatory.
