Zusammenfassung

Reboot Monkey is seeking freelance Data Center Technicians to provide on-demand support across our global data centers, including hardware setup and troubleshooting.

You will monitor operations, manage Linux/Windows systems, and configure networking devices (Cisco/Juniper) to ensure uptime and security.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data center ops, relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, Linux+), and the ability to work independently with remote teams.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations, freelance preferred.
• Strong experience with Cisco and Juniper networking devices.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs.
• Certifications like CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ desirable.
• Willingness to travel to data center locations on short notice.

Aufgaben

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other hardware.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site to minimize downtime.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking devices to ensure secure network operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows-based systems, including updates and security patches.
• Document installations, repairs, and performance reports for remote teams.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams and vendors to improve data center operations.
