Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Dietlikon, Switzerland. This full-time, on-site role supports critical infrastructure in world-class facilities, including server/network maintenance and cabling.

You will handle deployments, incident response, and documentation within a collaborative operations team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OS2 fiber), and relevant certifications.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms (preferred).
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
