Job summary

Blockstream is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to drive end-to-end hiring across the EMEA region and support our mission of building world-class teams. You will partner with HR and senior leaders to define criteria, build proactive pipelines for engineering, infrastructure, and security roles, and deliver top-tier candidates.

The role requires a data-driven approach, comfort in a remote-first organization, and fluency in English; additional EMEA language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in high-growth international tech environments.
• Experience hiring in regulated industries (software, crypto, fintech).
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with credibility.
• Strong sourcing depth; proactive pipeline development.
• Experience managing cross-border hiring within EMEA.
• Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a strategic talent partner, owning hiring outcomes across EMEA and contributing meaningfully to how Blockstream scales.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment across EMEA for highly technical and business-critical roles.
• Build, nurture, and activate strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to clarify role scope, define hiring criteria, and align on long-term talent strategy.
• Deliver high-quality, well-calibrated candidate shortlists that balance speed, rigor, and mission alignment.
• Drive a best-in-class candidate experience from first outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Guide and educate hiring managers on structured interviewing, market intelligence, and objective evaluation practices.
• Own recruiting performance metrics (time-to-hire, pipeline health, conversion rates) and use data to refine approach.
