Job summary

Proclinical seeks a Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research to lead global HEOR strategies for diabetes and medical devices. This role focuses on evidence generation, economic modeling, and value communication to support access and HTA decisions.

The candidate will guide cross-functional teams, develop PRO endpoints, and drive publication programs while aligning HEOR with pricing and reimbursement strategies across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life/health sciences; advanced degrees preferred.
• Extensive HEOR leadership experience in life sciences with hands-on modeling.
• Strong understanding of HEOR deliverables across the lifecycle of medical technologies.
• Expertise in economic modeling, real-world data analysis, and data source selection for HEOR analyses.
• Proven ability to translate complex evidence into clear value narratives for executives and payers.
• Experience building and leading high-performing global HEOR teams.
• Deep knowledge of HTA policies in key global markets (e.g., UK).
• Past or present HEOR experience in diabetes or cardiovascular diseases is desirable.
• Strong scientific publication record.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with collaboration focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global HEOR strategies for in-market and pipeline products.
• Lead enterprise-wide HEOR planning to optimize access, reimbursement, and coverage decisions.
• Oversee design and execution of real-world evidence programs, epidemiological studies, and burden-of-disease research.
• Drive development of economic and PRO endpoints for trials and real-world evidence partnerships.
• Ensure evidence packages meet needs of diverse payer archetypes and HTA bodies globally.
• Strategically assess and maximize the economic value of pipeline assets.
• Lead creation and refinement of economic models to support global access strategies.
• Plan and oversee HEOR publication efforts with internal stakeholders.
• Partner with global and regional access teams to integrate HEOR into pricing and reimbursement strategies.
• Support affiliates in adapting models for local HTA needs.
