SIX Group seeks an Application DevOps Engineer to shape reliable, high-performing platforms in a modern DevOps environment in Zurich. You will drive automated deployments, GitOps-based delivery, and infrastructure-as-code across cloud and on‑prem environments.
You will collaborate with development teams to ensure low-latency, secure operations and continuously improve deployment workflows, monitoring, and platform resilience. Fluent English, German a plus.
Competenze
- Experience across the software delivery lifecycle and operating production systems.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and shell; GitLab CI/CD experience.
- Practical knowledge of Ansible and infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with containerized platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
Mansioni
- Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment workflows using Ansible and GitLab CI/CD.
- Define and improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks for stability and incident response.
- Develop automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, Bash, and related formats.
- Operate and support monitoring and job scheduling platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Airflow, etc).
- Own production services across their lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
- Participate in on-call rotation and lead post-incident reviews for reliability improvements.
